The staff at the Mohun Health Care Center work to offer a daily life that centers around care, community and prayer. Social events, enrichment opportunities like art and music experiences, local trips, and of course, Daily Mass is available to all residents. Our beautiful chapel is wheelchair accessible, with a balcony to allow attendance by those whose mobility is more limited.
The state-of-the-art facility, remodeled in 1995, boasts four levels for residents and two lower levels for social activities and services.
The large private rooms are furnished with a hospital bed, desk and chair, easy chair, nightstand, dresser, and built-in closet, with an attached wheelchair-accessible bathroom.
The bath area has a handicap-accessible tub/shower combination. A newly-installed HVAC system circulates 100 percent outside air with good ventilation. We are grateful to SOAR USA (Serving Our Aging Religious) for their generous support of our residents.
The Physical Therapy unit has an exercise pool available.
There is also a Special Care Unit for those with Alzheimer’s and other memory issues.
